20 people were killed more than 40 others were injured during a suicide attack on a Shiite mosque in Kabul during Friday's prayers. Two police officers were among the victims.
Afghanistan's Interior Ministry spokesman confirmed that at least one person went into the wind at the Emam Zaman mosque gate, while others attacked within it.

Immediately after the attack, police surrounded the scene. Local residents said they heard gunshots inside the mosque.

Imam Zaman is one of the main Shiite mosques in the area, and it is widely frequented during Fridays, the holy day of the week for Muslims.
The incident occurs several days after President Trump announced the new strategy for Afghanistan, granting greater competence to the command on the ground.
He demanded that Pakistan change “immediately” behavior and stop providing shelter for Afghan Taliban.
According to President Trump, the Afghan government must speed up reforms and not take American support.
