Hagi is one of five pillars of Islamic faith, which each Muslim must serve at least once in his life.
This year marks the return to Hadge of Muslims from Iran.
Iran has boycotted it last year, as in 2015, over 2,400 pilgrims have lost their lives from mob leave.
Iran has had the most victims of 464, respectively.
“This year, we expect about two million pilgrims”, Abdelmajed Mohammed Al-Afganistan, director of Haxhi cases, told AFP.
