Croatia has said it has withdrawn the decision to raise import tariffs for trees and vegetables amid revenge threats from some neighbouring Balkan countries.
During the past month, this country has decided to make some dramatic changes in prices, reasoning these actions with the fact that they are needed to comply with the standards of other European Union countries.
The Ministry of Agriculture has said today through a statement that the decision to return previous prices will be reinvigorated by August 11th, followed. REL.
Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia had launched an ultimatum on Croatia to change the tariffs, as it could face responses.
Bosnia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia are not members of the European Union, until Croatia joined the bloc in 2013.
