The female soldiers who have served in the United States Armed Forces show the horrors they have spent in military service and who are still going through.
“Daily Mail” writes that one of these veteran Lurae Horse served in the United States Air Force as a mechanic who worked at B- 29.
According to Horse, she was raped by a friend of her team. Then the woman with tears in her eyes indicates that she had not filed an official complaint about the incident.
I just pulled my pants and went back to work”, she said. But the suffering of these female veterans does not “extend” at the end of military service. Many have remained homeless and live in miserable places.
Another female veteran, Alicia Dell, shows that she is homeless after spending five years in the U.S. Navy.
According to the National Coalition for Veterans of the United States, women currently account for eight percent of the overall veteran population and 14.6% of the active army, while these figures are expected to rise to about 16% by 2035.
In light of these trends, the number of homeless female veterans doubled from 1,380 in 2006 to 3,328 in 2010.
