In an exclusive interview for “Panorama Sport”, Sadiku confesss everything. From the talks that broke with Panathinaikos to the friendships that he established in Legia. He has even found the man who confessed to him about Panuchy.

The last goal you've scored in the Cup in Legia's qualifications...

It was an easy fight on paper, but all teams protect a lot when they play against us. This made this confrontation a bit difficult for us, but we managed to win and qualify.

What does this goal mean to you, against all the criticism you've become in Poland?

In my career I have preserved a feature and I always do my best when I get off the field. To be honest, I don't follow the media and I haven't even read the newspapers you're referring to and I don't know what they said about me. I'm focused on what's going on in the field and I've always given it my all.

Unfortunately, the team is not going through a very good form as we all do. That's why we haven't won a lot of fights. I hope this triumph in the cup is a good sign and that at the next meeting in the championship we will win. It's the beginning, the differences are small and with two or three consecutive victories we can reach the top.

Legia was eliminated in Champs' qualifying. How did this come about?

Everyone on this team, staff, directors or even fans are accustomed to great goals. Everyone wanted to play the Champions and I was one of them who came to Legia to play that competition. However, we lacked only one goal against Astana. We completely missed our first fight in transfer, 3-1.

We tried to get him home, but we didn't make it. We were all very disappointed by that fact, but we have to look forward and focus on Europe League to qualify in groups. The last victory in the Cup has somehow turned the atmosphere into a positive one.

You've scored three competitions, (Campones, Champions and the Poland Cup), have you thought about this personal beginning with the new team?

Those who know me know I'm a zone player who's always around the gate. I'm there to turn the cases into goals. Always ready for the team, trying to show what I can do best: score goals. Actually, I've been waiting for the first fight to score.

I trust myself and if only five minutes to be on the field, I want to and believe I can make a goal. Because just thinking that way makes it possible for you to score. I have even waited for a better start and for more goals.

However, given that I haven't even had my own preparation phase, but I started playing right away, I'm happy with this start of the season I've made. Coach, staff and fans know I'm out of preparation. However, I'm ready and playing all the games.

How pleased you are with the game pattern of Legia, do you feel sufficiently supplied with balls during the game?

We play with an attacker and two numbers, ten. I'm happy with the way we play the game because we play it with a lot of equipment and we have the ball in control all the time.

All teams fear when they play against us and play busy in defense. In this case, it becomes even harder for me to score.

But it is now a situation where teams in the championship have fought only three games, while Legia has done ten. Right now, playing almost every three days, the team is a little tired. However, with the qualities the team has in its composition, I am satisfied and a positive future awaits us.

How did they expect you at Legia, how were the first days in Poland?

I was well received, and from the moment we agreed on everything I could spend on Legia, I felt very well and highly esteemed. Even as one of the most valued players in Legia but also in Poland.

When I arrived on this team, everyone received me because Legia, for nearly six months, had no shooting attacker. I have been received with great joy by everyone. They've all been delighted to see me in the first match and then on transfers to Champions. I remember everything for the better. I feel very appreciated by the directors and everyone at the club.

What challenges have you faced in Poland during the first days?

Of course there are, like any young football player on a team where you should see other people work, how things work, how they behave, and how I'm here in another country where language is a factor. Most on the team, about 70%, are Polish players.

I have to be careful with everything I understand and get into the tactic or club organ as soon as possible and everything. I don't miss this, and I've settled too fast with the club. Personally, I have been helped by many people at the club and have been made available to me for all I have needed in the first few days, both in training and outside.

How is communication done with the coach and staff during training?

When training is done, communication is done both in Polish and English. And when the theory is explained or during the speaking of the coach, it is either the second deputy coach or the team manager doing the translation.

Zurich's president stated that Panathinaikos was turned back only from your national video scandal...

I know Panathinaikos loved me and held intensive talks about ten days to pick me up. Finally, however, something did not go and I came to Legia, who met all conditions even better than Panathinaikos, without underestimateing what they offered me in Greece.

The whole problem in Greece was they wanted more time to decide, but I didn't want to wait. That's all I can say, I don't want to comment any longer on other things and reasons.

What convinced you of Legia?

He had asked me for another year and I knew all the conditions and everything. I decided without thinking twice.

Are you starting to build company on the team?

There are many club leaders who are available 24 hours to fulfill everything I need. Of the players, I have had much support and have shown very positive people with me. For now, I'm living with an Italian football player, Christian Pascuato, who's been on the team this season. Generally, we speak Italian to each other.

How is living in Poland compared with Switzerland?

I knew Varshava was a big city, but I'm surprised. There's nothing missing. I am surprised not only by the city but also by people for hospitality. Here they love sports, and especially Legian. I've also been supported on the streets when I'm on the move. This feels good. I have felt good since the beginning, as if I had been on this team for a long time.

Did you have a meeting with the fans or the ultras?

The fans are very hot, but so far I haven't spoken to them, because it's the captain who goes and communicates with the ultrasound.

A few days ago, Legia's ultras shook the world with the banners used by a Nazi soldier threatening a child. You personally felt, and what did you think at that moment?

At first, we knew they'd do something in the tub. For one thing, they are fans who create at each game, but also because the day before was Poland's German liberation party. When they opened that big banner, we were all surprised.

To be honest, at that moment I didn't understand what it meant and what it meant. They later explained to me what fans and its meaning had presented. That's what Legia's fans are all about, and there's a lot of people using the crazy word behind the team.

Have you ever thought about trying to get them to dedicate you to spectacular choreography like they always do?

I try every day to train well and be in shape and ready to score and help the team on match day. On every team I've played, I've made fans for myself and they want me. Even in Legia, I believe that with my job, I wish to win the hearts of fans. I guess I'll be doing something like this here soon enough.

You claim to reach the quota of 20 goals. Was it a statement of enthusiasm or did you really aim at it?

Yeah, I think it's accessible. For now, the primary goal is to regain victory. Besides, I'm attacking and I want to score as many goals as possible.

What is your personal objective?

I want to be one of the best athletes in Poland.

How far have you talked to the coach or the players, how much do they know Albania?

Coach, since I came on my first day, he's been telling me he's been following me in Europe. Legia has also played with Kukes before and speaks well of Albania. But they always speak for the moment in Tirana when they've been hit with one thing. One of the players has been hit in the field and tells me that “in Albania hit and you have mad fans”.

How much do you think moving to a big team like Legia will help you keep your performance positive and national?

Legia feels great. Frankly, it's one of the best clubs I've ever been to. All conditions are perfect for me to develop better as a professional. Besides goals, I want to win the championship, the Cup and get as far away as possible in Europe. These are the targets of the moment and I don't want to go too far and see you in the air.

To get to the National, what do you think the new coach can bring?

First, I wish them success. I talked to Legia's friend, Pascuato, who had her coach at Livorno. He told me what he likes to be a coach. I hope that the whole group, like the team, will serve us individually, but individually all players, as most are relatively young. I hope we do good.

What did you learn from your friend about Panucci?

He told me how he does his training, how he's a person. So basics, because I have to know it myself and create my own opinion. The general is very positive and is the coach who really wants to win. He's a very strict coach.

He started work on the trip to see Jaka, but this guy didn't answer...

I haven't spoken to Jack and I don't even know what happened. I'm not inside events. I don't want to talk just based on what was said in the media.

De Biazi, in an interview, said that “Jaka should apologize to his team friends at National”. Should he do something like that to you?

I'm not in the middle of what happened. All I know is that Taulanti serves us a lot as a player. If he has to do something, with all his heart, he has to do it for the flag and for Albania. I'm pretty sure Taulanti will be with us again and he'll help us because he has qualities. We all know he's a player who can be of great service to us at the Nationals.

Do you have any regrets that you did not move to Zion, since it is already Kukel and Lenan, and it looks like little Albania?

Zion asked for me, but I was planning on leaving Switzerland. I've always been in contact with Paolo, but I decided to change. I had been playing with the same teams for six years, with the same trainers and the same referees. It was time for me to change. I felt good with Paolo in National and in Lugano, but he also understood what I wanted. I didn't regret choosing Legia.
