A teenager has been sentenced to only four years ' imprisonment after being accused of killing an elderly person.
Luke Woods, 17, attacked Leonard Saunders, 65, on the street after the old man told him he wasn't a smoker so he couldn't give him a cigarette.
Saunders fell to the ground and suffered a blow to the skull, but he could not escape after nine days of hospital stay. The young man was sentenced to four years and four months in prison after the attack on St Helens, Merseyside, England on 21 July.
