A woman in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, who survived an alleged gang rape and four other acid attacks, has been again targeted by the acid attack.
She was attacked outside a women's hotel in Lucknow, while drawing water from a pump, police said.
The woman, 35, was under police protection because of previous attacks that were related to a property dispute.
Anger has increased in the authorities' inability to protect it, the BBC writes.
It was allegedly raped by a group and originally attacked by acid by two men during 2008 for a property dispute, details of which are not clear.
Both men have then been charged with the acid attack on her for more than twice in 2012 and 2013, where, through attacks, the woman has attempted to withdraw charges against them.
