Kosovo President Hashim Thaci said today that the ethnic composition of the KSF best shows how communities should be integrated into institutional life, and that the KSF does not differ much from the region's armies.
He made these comments in the case of the Certificate of 61 KSF recruits from no majority communities, following 9 weeks of training at the Ferizaj Doctrine and Training Centre.
Thaci said that as president in co-operation with partners they are working on changing the KSF mandate. The head of state stressed that no one should worry about this natural process. According to him, KSF still does not distinguish much from the region's armies.
He said the results that are bringing Kosovo KSF members are making everyone proud and that the ethnic composition of KSF shows best how communities should integrate into institutional life.
Minister of Office The KSF, Haki Demolli, said the Certificate of 61 recruits is a next step for the professional establishment of KSF. Demolli stressed that the new recruits are from the Serbian and Montenegrin community, showing that the KSF is becoming beloved to all.
He said they are determined to transform the KSF into the FAK, which will be in the service of all.
Otherwise, gratitude has been extended to recruits and prominent sergeants.
