According to the Directorate General of Metrology, the heat wave from North Africa will continue for several more days, while temperatures are up from 6-10 degrees Celsius above seasonal norms, “emperature high for many years”.
If in Ankara and Bursa, temperatures have reached 40 degrees, in Analia have surpassed 42 degrees, while in Manisa 44 degrees, 43 degrees in Diyarbakir and the most extreme are in the cities of Sanliurfa and Aydin by 45 degrees.
The heat wave will be until Wednesday, and later, temperatures will return to normal seasons rates.
