High temperatures, again fires in Albania

The temperatures still remain high in the country and the danger of evident fires. Over the last 24 hours, there have been two forest fires in Debar and Vlora with considerable damage. Firework services have intervened despite field difficulties.

Debar County.

In the village of Zogje, the Shupenza Administrative Unit, Debar, has been set on fire in an ahu forest area. The MZSH Debar local service has gone to the scene and worked with circumstantial vehicles at night until morning for the extinguishing of the fire because of broken mountain terrain. In aid to extinguishing the fire have gone and employees from the Defense Agency as well as residents of the area. After a long job the fire is gone. As a result of the fire, an area of about five dozen with ahu forest was burned.

Vlora County.

In the village of Zvrinec, the Center Administrative Unit, Vlora, fire has fallen on a forest area of bushes and pines. The MZSH Vlora local service has gone to the scene and worked to extinguish the fire. As a result of the fire, an area of about two dozen squares of shrubs and pines burned, and an electric tap near the fire suffered material damage.

Elbasan County.

In the village of Malasenj, there was a fire at a hotel. Local M service Elbasan City Hall has sent fire vehicles with personnel to the scene, who have quickly extinguished the fire, which has not caused damage.
