High temperatures: 10,000 people call for help at QKUK

Kosovo is facing high temperatures these days, which, according to the Hydrometeorological Institute, have reached 35 degrees. Rising temperatures have also increased the number of people needing medical attention.
At the Emergency Clinic, at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo, medical assistance for the months of June and July, about 10,000 people have been seeking.
Basri Lenyan, director of the Emergency Centre, told the REL that health complications from high temperatures have emerged in chronically ill people, those with cardiological diseases, pregnant women and others.

Internistic services are frequented by greater numbers, and the most frequent cases require help are those with heart problems and high blood pressure.
