Tatiana Kullaina, mother of the Russian girl Kseniya Roik who lost his life in Ksamil, has told Albanian police the sad history, the tragedy of life:
On the date 21,07.2017, about 10: 00 p.m., two Russian citizens, mother and daughter, have gone to a beach near the docking point of floating vehicles, and specifically to the beach managed by citizen A. P., which faces three islands of Ksamil. After spending about 30 minutes in beach sand, after 10:30 Russian citizens Kseniya Roick and Tatiana Kulagina were swimming toward “Three islands”, where Kseniya was ahead and from behind was her mother Tatiana Kulagina. After swimming along with some of the distance, Kseniya has left even before, and Tatiana was no longer seeing her.
As she was swimming behind the girl in the direction of her swim, and she was no longer watching her, writes the Albanian newspaper, when it happened closer to the island, at a distance of 30 to 50 yards, she saw a man who couldn't tell for sure whether she was her daughter, who at one point raised her arms up. Meanwhile, at the same time as the man who carried his arms up was, Tatiana has also seen a yellow boat and a little farther away, a white boat smaller than yellow.
After that, he saw that the white boat stayed there, and the yellow left. It has not fixed how many people were on these two boats, but it explains these were those who carried passengers/tourists, having often seen such ones in Ksamil. Still at considerable distance and never seeing her daughter again, she thought she was off the coast of the island on her left. So Tatiana also took the lead on the left island until she was touched by the bottom of the sea near the island's coast.
He looked for the worried girl with his eyes, but he didn't see her. Looking left-right, she saw something happening on her right arm inside the sea. In the direction of the country where he had seen the man carry his arms up a few moments earlier, he saw two boats, a dark police boat, and another white one. He swam toward the boats, and when it happened at a distance about 30 feet [10 m] from them, he saw something being pulled out of the water. Then he found out that they were getting a person out of the water, and yet he didn't get there, he found that someone had gone into the water to get this person's body out.
When she got closer to the boats, she was picked up by her daughter, and she knew from her leg she was her daughter, Kseniya Roick.
Tatiana herself has first boarded the police vehicle that included her daughter's lifeless body but was then taken away from that vehicle and boarded on the other white boat there.
Later, both Russian foreign nationals have been transported with sailing vehicles to the shore and later to the Civil Regional Hospital in the city of Saranda.
