British Prime Minister Theresa May will ask members of the government to stay focused on their duties, its spokesman said today, following information released on media giving the image of a divided executive, mainly on Brex. The conservative chairman suffered a considerable weakening of her authority in the June 8th legislative legislation, where she lost her absolute magic in Parliament, AFP reports.
“Ministers will discuss privately government policies, and the prime minister will repeat tomorrow to her colleagues during the Council of Ministers”, May's spokesman said today.
“It will call for more accountability, stressing that the government ministers should focus on continuing work”, the spokeswoman added, while a new cycle of negotiations on exit from the EU began today in Brussels.
In recent days, British media have shown the war that some of the ministers are making to replace Theresa May, as well as criticism targeting Finance Minister Philip Hammond.
