Rama freezes public procurements

No public procurement can be made as early as 5 July and continuing (without deadline). The decision was made by the Council of Ministers and is signed by Prime Minister Edi Rama. It appears that this is a move to block public funds as long as there are parties that have already emerged in the government, such as the DP (technical ministers) and the SMI (former party in the coalition).

The VKM says that only procurements of small value can be made for emergency needs.
