About a hundred animal rights advocates protested today in Pamlona and called for an end to traditional bull wars in Spain, a day before the Sanfermines festival.
Sanfermines is the festival, which is held each year and begins with the lighting of the “chupinaso” missiles, after which participants run in front of bulls on the narrow streets of the Pammona as the race ends in the bull-fight arena.
