The prosecution gives details about today's operation and those arrested

The operation was conducted by EULEX police and Kosovo Police, during which four people have been arrested.

“Two (2) people have been arrested on the order of the judge, while two other persons have been arrested by Kosovo Police for illegal possession of weapons. Another person is expected to be extradited by an foreign state and arrested during the day in connection with the same case”, the report said.

Some 35 international police officials and 100 police officials from Kosovo conducted research in different locations concerning seven (7) suspected part of ongoing criminal investigations.

“These investigations deal with the serious murder of both (2) UNMIK officials and with the attempted assassination of two other UNMIK officials in 2004”, the report said.

The case is being investigated by an international Special Prosecutor, while orders for arrests and research have been issued by a Kosovo judge for preliminary procedure.
