Massachusets prison officials say Paul Chanley was released Friday from the Old Colony Correcting Centre in Bridgewater.
Shanky was a <x0-pritt on the” road that served to alter youth in the 1960s-70s. Decades later, dozens of people came out and said that Chanley had mistreated or violated them. He was fired from the Vatican and convicted of raping a boy in a parish in Newton.
His lawyer stressed that he has suffered the sentence and is not dangerous.
