Since Gianni de Biassi's departure, the national was linked to many names known to lead the team, but Federation Chairman Armando Duka has decided on Livorno's former coach for national adornment.

Panucci as a footballer has had a wild career, since he has played for such teams as AS Roma, Real Madrid, and Inter.
Panucci's career as a coach began in 2012 as a assistant to Maurizio Zamparini in Palermo, then became the assistant of Fabio Capellio to Russia's national and was eventually the coach of the Italian team, Livorno, who belongs in the series B.
He is expected to debut as Albania's new coach in September against Liechtenstein at home. /Periscopi/
