But Guangzhou Evergrand has turned down the Catalan club's offer, broadcast Periscope.
The Chinese giant has come out with a media communiqué where he's shown his offer to the Brazilian.
“Paulinho, has renovated the contract recently with the club in January 2017, and he is a very important player for our long” project.
We're obliged to formally respond to Barcelona's offer, for Paulinho, which we don't intend to sell”.
