Albania's beaches have been fatal for about 15 Kosovars since the beginning of this summer. Most of them have lost their lives while bathing in the waters of the Adriatic Sea.
However, vacationers from Kosovo do not feel insecure, even though some do not like the lack of rescue guards, KTV reports.
Private and public beaches, according to Albania's laws, are obliged to have the watchtower and rescue guards.
Kosovo diving expert Ismajl Kasumi says that for 50 years, as long as he is involved in diving, he has not seen so many deaths in Albanian coastal waters.
In addition to calls for caution from vacationers, it calls for beach owners to take necessary measures, as the security level at most beaches in Albania is currently low.
And, according to Albania's first Tourist Union, Nundman Kasa, the National Coast Agency should not be sufficient to fine law offenders.
Despite the request, Kohavision has received no response from the National Coast Agency concerning safety on beaches and punitive measures against private beaches that have no watchtowers and rescue guards.
