Kadri Wessel, sole candidate for chairman of Parliament by PAN coalition

Officials on this party say Wessel will be elected chairman and their coalition will form new institutions. Kadri Veselin's vote for chairman of the Parliament has declared Vetevendosje and LDK with its partners.

Kadri Wessel is the only coalition candidate PAN for Speaker of the Parliament. PDK's elected MP, Blerta Deliu Kodra, speaks confident that Wessel will be voted for prime minister at the 3 August session. She says the leader of the Democratic Party has full support of the party, but also of other coalition partners.

Deliu Kodra did not talk about numbers, but indicated confident there would be no political blockades and that the coalition UN will form institutions.
But, the head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, is considered unacceptable to the chief parliament by the Vetevendosje Movement and the LDK.

LDK deputy chairman Agim Veliu has said over the phone that the position of his party and coalition partners is the same, and that the deputies of this coalition will not vote Kadri Veselin for chairman of the Parliament.

Even Vetevendosje Movement officials have steadfastly indicated if Wessel's vote for the Speaker of the Parliament is not.

The election of the Speaker of the Parliament is necessary for the continuation of other Assembly Constitution procedures and for the beginning of the phase for forming the new government.
At the August 3rd session, MPs are expected to swear and elect the chairman and five vice-presidents of this institution, while from the moment of the Parliament's constitutionalisation, period of 15 days follows for forming the new government.
