Italy has also been involved in recent hours in the risk of fires. More than 1,200 fires have been registered on the central territory of southern Italy, causing the burning of tens of hectares of land and forests.

So far, more than 500 fires have been registered in the region of Sicily, 260 in the Puglia region, 250 in Calabria and Campania, 190 in the Lacio region.

According to the Civil Protection Office, the fire map of these days has recorded the record of the last 10 years.

The Naples prosecution has opened an investigative process to several fire departments in the territory around Vesuvius and in several surrounding municipalities, documenting with images and videos of the territory.

Even Palermos, Katanias and Enna prosecutors have launched investigative processes for intentional fires verified in the territory of their municipalities.
