Avdullah Hoti speaks of his experience so that for the first time in political career he can lead an election process by running for prime minister.

How does Avdullah Hoti assess this process now after announcing the outcome of the June 11th election? Could it be President <x0-venture” to create the Government of Kosovo if PAN can't get his numbers. Will the LAA seek interpretation by the Constitutional Court for Article 95 of government creation when the first mandate has no numbers?

Is the LDK more inclined to PAN or V?

In a hypothetical situation when both PAN and VV political groups will accept that LDK leads the government, what would be the best preference for the LDK, the PAN or the VV?

Who is smuggling with MPs and will achieve that coalition PAN plus any sub “smuggled”, VV + LDK create Kosovo government?

For all these and other issues, Avdullah Hoti candidate for prime minister has spoken.

Botpress: Mr. Hotty, for the first time in your political career, you led an election process. How do you assess this process now after announcing the outcome of the June 11th elections?

Avdullah Hoti: It's been a unique experience for me. It has been a special honour and responsibility to lead the LDK election list and the coalition we built with our partners. For the first time, we have given the election campaign in Kosovo another, positive spirit in content, based on the programme, without insults from political opponents. A calm campaign has generally been held. The election results are not favourable for any political force to build on itself. This result lays the need for coalition construction.

It is a pity that the political scene has been polarised because of the irresponsible actions of a political force, which is the PDK. We are at a particular moment of political developments in Kosovo. No political force wants to coalition with the PDK and political grouping where the PDK is. Therefore, it is in the interest of Kosovo's democratic development and, in the best of its own The PDK's long-standing opposition to the opposition and reflect on what it has done is facing widespread rejection.

We won't let the president use his discretion in favour of the PAN.

Botpress: The president could be “obstructionary” for the establishment of the Kosovo Government if PAN fails to get numbers. Will you seek interpretation by the Constitutional Court for Article 95 of Government's establishment when the first termant has no numbers?

Avdullah Hoti: The constitution is clear, as is the Constitutional Court's decisions in 2014. They should not waste time in establishing institutions. We will not allow the PAN coalition and the president to hold back the establishment of institutions and the will of citizens, if the coalition PAN can't form government. We will use all constitutional and legal ways to prevent the president from using his discretion in favour of a political group from where he comes from. In this effort we will seek the support of other political groups in the Kosovo Assembly.

The president has played a role affecting his impartiality in the face of political forces, working in convincing MPs to sign the government's no-confidence motion, involving to achieve pre-election coalitions, as well as in the PDK-side campaign.

No co-operation with PDK

Botpress: The LDK has not emerged the winner, but without the LDK or the LAA coalition, the government cannot be established. According to the current result, what is the LDK more inclined towards, towards PAN or VV?

Avdullah Hoti: The LDK is not heading either way. We're analyzing the election outcome. We're communicating within the party. We're discussing with our parliamentary group and our coalition partners.

We have established our programming framework that enables us to examine the coalitions that can be achieved. We are determined as LDK and as a coalition not to enter into any co-operation with the PDK. We are open to review other partnerships once the coalition fails PAN. We will discuss with the AAK, Initiative and Vetevendosje on the basis of the programme we have as the centre-right party. We will make maximum efforts to achieve co-operation with these parties so that the country can provide a stable government with clear programmes, pro-European approaches and secure Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic perspective. No other party can do this except the LDK.

Neither accept PAN's position of prime minister

Botpress: In a hypothetical situation when both PAN and VV political groups would agree to the LDK leading the government, what would be the best preference for LDK, PAN or VV?

Avdullah Hoti: Let me explain again. We don't enter any coalition with PAN, whatever the LDK position in that government. With other parties we're open. But before we discuss positions in Government, we have to agree to the government programme. We're the centre-right party and we'll make sure the governing programme maintains this approach. We are a member of the European People's Party, which is the largest political grouping in the EU of centre-right parties, and we have to make sure that the governing programme is in line with the principles of PEP programmes.

PAN has financial power to smuggle MPs, but there is no one among LDK

Botpress: PAN coalitions are mentioned plus any deputy “smuggled”, VV + LDK. But is there also a <x2-memetic” of the Government of Kosovo creation.

Avdullah Hoti: Coalition Officials Declarations PAN have votes for forming the government by smuggling two or three deputies from other parties constitute insults for Kosovo citizens. This best shows the model of government that this coalition can offer, the model of smuggled governance. What this coalition has to do is analyze what's happening that no one wants to cooperate with them. AAK and Initiative should reflect on this in particular and withdraw from that coalition as soon as possible, because such fate in the future can find these parties as well PDK.

Some of our deputies are being offended by citing names in the media that they will support the PAN coalition, that is, smuggling. Of course the coalition The PAN has enough financial power to smuggle MPs, but there is no one between the LDK and our coalition.

The next government could be formed with several possible coalitions that leave the PDK out. We will commit once the coalition fails PAN to build these coalitions on the basis of the LDK's political platform as the centre-right party.
