The chairman of Macedonia's Parliamentary Commission for European Affairs, Artan Grubi, said today that Albanian coalition ruling partners should be involved in the process of resolving the dispute on the name of the state with Greece.
He made these comments today during a meeting in Macedonia's Parliament with Greece's Ambassador to Skopje, Dimitris Janakakis, with whom they talked about political developments in the country and the region, the Skopje - Athens negotiations about name dispute, good neighbourhood, reform plan, and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Grubi said the process of building confidence measures between Skopje and Athens should be re-intensified and continued with direct negotiations between the two countries for resolving the open issue.
“Integration in NATO and membership in the European Union are our absolute priorities”, he said.
The meeting also discussed the political scene in the country, linguistic equality, systemial reforms and economic co-operation.
