The BBC learns that a final compromise has been reached in concluding the text of the statement on the second day at the meeting in Hamburg, the Kosovo Clan broadcasts.
According to EU officials, the text has been accepted by US President Donald Trump after withdrawing from the Paris climate agreement without blocking other countries' engagement.
This came after the second night of violent protests in Hamburg.
