European Parliament rapporteur Tanja Fajon has estimated that “Montenegro has no political obstacles on the road to the European Union”, as Kosovo has problems with Serbia and Macedonia for the name.
Fajon, in a statement to Podgorica daily “Pobjeda”, has said that the EU should be more determined when it comes to the readiness of these states to be informed that they are welcome to the EU and that it estimates on them.
On the other hand, Western Balkan states must do more on the road to the EU to make it clear that in the future they really see themselves in our family”, Fajon added.
The Slovenian MP in the European Parliament estimates Russia will, however, continue with protecting its interests in the region.
