Sabri Unal can fearlessly say that he is a lucky person who, despite having been passed by two tanks upstairs, has been miraculously rescued.
He remained injured during the coup attempt in Turkey, while footage of security cameras shows he was passed over two tanks.
A year after that, he talked about the BBC:
I saw the tanks approaching and I jumped on the road to stop them. That's when I faced my first tank. He didn't stop, he passed me up. When I got up, I saw the second tank coming. I hate to stop him by raising his hand. Although the second tank did not stop by crushing my right arm. ”
Unal explains that their foot skin had closed the wound on their arm.
He says he's lucky he got away with that, because he could have been killed if he went to protest the Bosphorus Bridge.
