Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has called the first meeting of the sixth legislature of the Republic of Kosovo Assembly on August 3rd at 10:00.
“Chairman and Headship of the Fifth Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo Parliament, in accordance with relevant legislation in force, President Thaci has also instructed them to prepare the agenda proposal”, the Presidency's announcement said.
Today, President Thaci has made that decision based on Article 66 (paragraph 3) and Article 84 (point 3) of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, Article 6 of Law No. 03L-094 for the president of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as in light of the decision of July 8, 2017, the Central Election Commission for Certificate of the final results of the parliamentary elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo on June 11, 2017.
