Today Basha came out and began complaints about the destruction of a garden that, according to him, was built in his time as mayor, but that this is actually a private possession of the Nela family, and residents in this palace-living area have no right on this property.
Furthermore, half of this property, instead of passing as a fine for Basha Kunat, has been passed into community service as a garden, a condition set by the municipality in 2015 for 50 percent of this space to leave green.
But Basha does not seem to mind the lack of a fine for his brother-in-law four years ago, and she gets several citizens to protest and sometimes she gets herself into media statements, becoming “created” and speaking as DP chairman.

The space in question is the private property of the Nela Family and a private subject, which has applied for law-building permits in Tirana City. The permit in question has been issued on the basis of the Tirana General Plan approved in 2013 by former Tirana Mayor Lulzim Basha. The plan of the time envisioned residential construction and service in this space.
The procedure was followed by the subject over the past year, when the urban plan drafted by Lulzim Basha was still in force.
Under the legislation in effect, if a subject applies for a building permit within the norms and forecasting of the plan in force, as well as its property is clean, the municipality has the obligation to approve construction permits within 45 days, otherwise this permit is granted quietly and responsible officials are prosecuted for abuse of office.
The private object in question is a multifunctional object for housing and services. This object will develop in three stages.

In 2015 the new municipality significantly increased the taxes for the builders to 10fold for the builders, so today the municipality of Tirana benefits not a little but 5 million Euro taxes for public investment.
Moreover, the new municipality has demanded that 50% of the territory be left green as a garden for the community.
In financial terms, for our company the payment of this giant tax and the forgiveness of half the property to the community is the same as the one Kunati wanted. But we'd rather give it to Together for public interest than to a private individual associated with the former leader!
The entire development accounts for less than half of the private land on which it develops, the other half of the land will be converted to public green space, while ownership of this space eventually exceeds the municipality as public property.
