A man made a discovery that left him speechless in an abandoned home.

The man from Thailand announced the police immediately to denounce the case of a closed monkey living in cruel conditions of 25 years. He shows that the poor animal's face expressed mercy and called for help behind bars.

Joe, it's the name the rescue teams gave the monkey. Speaking to local media, Edeen Elek, founder of the Association for Animal Protection, said: I've seen a lot of animal abuse cases, but Joe's story goes beyond. Images show just how terrible his life has been for years there”. Conditions in the hole where the animal was kept were shocking, as residents have called it “the destruction of hell”. After being pulled out of rescue teams, Joe, he had no power and wrapped himself in a blanket. The process of restoring his health was long, where he was at first barely walking, while later on, he recovered and enjoyed full health.

Later investigations also revealed to the monkey owner, who told Thailand's authorities that he could not afford to keep the monkey in the zoo, so he left it in that hole since 1992.

The little animal belongs to a race that can live for 35 years, so the team hopes and works to provide a comfortable environment and offers joy to Joe during the remaining years of life.
