Bujar Nishani gives the last speech: Thank you for giving me a chance to serve

Thanks to all those who have relied on him for the past five years, Nishani stopped at the results achieved, but underlining that there is still much work to be done.

If, as is natural, ask me how I feel at this moment of departure, I have this answer: After every job, satisfied. Like after every pleasure, happy. But especially proud of the fact that all this time I have felt and coped with the heavy responsibility of carrying out the duty entrusted without neglecting any difficulties, not indulging in any attack without wavering before any initiative, without repenting before any decision. Maybe there are things that could have been better. But perfection does not end. It's not good to be pessimistic. Albania is the country of possible expectations and feasible aspirations, for more economies, more rights, more freedom. A great honor to me for my people. Thank you for giving me a chance to serve!

Bujar Nishani will leave the staff Ilir Meta, who on Monday after the swearing-in ceremony, to be held at 6600 in Parliament, will address the Presidency, where it will receive and officially the office of president of the Republic.
