Support by one vote has given it the only Albanian MP in Serbia's Parliament, Fatmir Hasani from the Presevo Valley. He says that after a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, he has promised them changes and that Belgrade's approach towards Albanians has moved in a good direction.
We think that this time our demands will begin to come true, since we have been in opposition for many years. We hope to harvest all that belongs to us”, Hasani said.
The Albanian MP says he hopes Brnabyqi and Vuciqi will see the possibility of improving life in the cities where they live. Therefore, Albanians are already part of the majority in the Assembly.
“The sooner Serbia meets minority rights, the better it is, as it is following the path towards the European Union”, Hasani added.
