The Albanian, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, belongs to about 28 years of age, who was along with his 22-year-old American fiancée, traveling in a car when it occurred and fatally banging on road defense bars. The Albanian has passed away, while his fiancée is in serious condition.
The couple were heading for a village in Bari, where their son's parents lived. The causes of the serious accident are not yet clear, but the police are being investigated.
