In the last 24 hours, 9 fires in Albania

During the last 24 hours across the country, there have been nine fires in Vlora, Fier, Durres, Berat, Tirana, Lezha and Debar.

In operations to extinguish fires, 75 firefighters with 13 vehicles, 60 military forces, as well as helicopters are engaged.

Civil emergency specialists are keeping the situation on constant monitoring throughout the country, as the risk of fires due to high temperatures is still aged.

The Civil Emergency General Directorate repeats calling to all citizens in case they found fires, to report immediately to emergency numbers 112, 129 and 128.

BRACH

On Mount “Partizan”, in the southern part of the Berat city crown, several fire hearths were reactivated, which were quickly spread by the strong wind. In the village of Dragobi, Tropoj, fire has fallen on a bushy area and pines in Valbona's natural park. Firefighters have had it impossible to get to the scene because of broken mountain terrain. From the information taken on the burned surface is 2 ha. Firehouses have been far from inhabited areas.

In the village of Chereven, Fier, there has been fire on a bushy and olive surface. As a result of the fire, an area of about 5 dozen with shrubs and 40 olive roots were burned.
