For two consecutive years KEDS, in this village has replaced the whole power grid, from the old one with the new one, according to the high European standards.
In KEDS, new transformers, concrete pillars and cables have been shown to have been placed in Lugbnar.
“A new transformer with power of 400 kVA, another new transformer with power of 250 kVA, and another new 100 kVA, which are all three. As well as 7 thousand and 500m air cables for low tension along with 60 concrete pillars for medium tension and 116 concrete pillars for low tension are investments for the village of Lugbnar”, said the ECDS report.
The effects are already felt by the community. The quality and stability of tension in supply are the product of KED investments in this village. This has enjoyed both family economies and small businesses in the region.
Among the beneficiaries is Frasher Nikaj, a resident who says that prior to this investment, residents have removed olive blacks from non-stabilized tension. It's been months since we have stable tension. We do not risk our economies or the elements of the household”, Nikaj says.
Also, representatives of the Laskaj, Frokaj and Dodaj families express gratitude to KED.
