For the first time this summer for citizens of Macedonia who will rest on the Albanian coast will also be cared for by policemen from Macedonia.
This is agreed at today's meeting of Macedonian Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Agim Nuhiu with representatives of the Albanian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In the period from July 1st until August 30th, members of our ministry will be assisted for questioning from the area of crime and road communication. This support stems from the protocol between the Macedonian and Albanian Ministry of Internal Affairs for co-operation during the 48x1-> tourist season, Nuhiu wrote in his profile in Fachebook.
In recent years, the growing number of citizens of Macedonia spend summer vacations on the magnificent beaches on the Albanian coast. The average number exceeds 400,000.
Otherwise, during the summer tourist season, several years now patrol joint Albanian-Kosovo patrol patrols, especially on the Durres-Kukes highway at the Morina border crossing, which conditioned a decrease in traffic accidents, countertakes, and nearly eliminated road robbery.
