Mitrovica's foundation court has put off the initial review session in the case of 35 police officers charged with corruption, Klan Kosova reports.
This court has found that no legal conditions have been met to be held because it has been missed by defendant Manojlo Laskovic with the reason he is ill.
This session will be held when the court makes sure the defendant can always appear in court within legal terms.
Also, the case judge has proposed that the defendants of the Regional Traffic Unit in the north of Mitrovica be tried separately by the defendants of the northern traffic unit, due to the efficiency and economy of the procedure.
Prosecutor Zeynep Kela has also agreed with the judge's request, since the Kosovo Police Inspectorate, according to her, has conducted separate investigations into the north and south.
15 out of 35 police officers who appeared before this court today are from south Mitrovica, while the other 20 from the north, Klan Kosova reports.
