That's when President Ilir Meta will be sworn in

The country's president, Bujar Nishani today, has decreed the extraordinary hearing of the new president's oath, the successor, Ilir Meta.

Under the decree, the extraordinary session will be held on July 24th, even days when Bujar Nishani's mandate at the head of the state ends.

Calling the Parliament at an extraordinary session to take the oath of the President of the Republic on July 24, 2017.

Article 2

This decree enters into force immediately.
