High Court Attacked by helicopter in Venezuela

Venezuela's Supreme Court has been attacked by grenades issued by a helicopter in what President Nicolaás Maduro called a <x0... terrorist attack”. Social media footage shows a police helicopter surrounding the city before shooting was heard.

The police official said he had piloted the stolen plane, where through a statement he denounced the government as criminal. His location is unknown. The attack comes after massive anti-political and economic crisis protests.

The Supreme Court has been regularly criticised by the Venezuelan opposition for its decisions, which support Maduron staying in power.
