Council for the Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms ( KMDLNj has reacted to the growing number of workers' deaths at the workplace.
According to KMDLNj, nine such deaths have been recorded since the beginning of this year, especially in the construction sector due to serious working conditions.
The number of employees engaged as seasonal workers, mainly in construction and private sector, and which due to severe working conditions without protection, suffered from minor, severe injuries, with the consequences of life disability and to the loss of life only as it is increasing”, is said in response.
KMDLNJ has addressed these concerns and Labour Chief Inspector Basri Ibrahimi, calling for more inspections on working conditions.
According to the communiqué, Chief Inspector Ibrahim considered these concerns to be right and should be addressed seriously by the Labour Inspectorate.
And so, The KMDLNj proposed that in the sentences pronounced for contempt of the law and the failure to create safe conditions for work, a special fund is created only for workers who suffer at the workplace and their families.
The KMDLNj also proposed that if the worker loses his life in the workplace at the fault of his employer and who has not resolved the residential issue, the family should be divided into a building complex, as well as the toge becomes a monthly pension, which would not be lower than the pensioner's contributor.
According to the Labour Inspectorate, 5 workers died in 2016.
