As one of the ideas of this location, but also construction of the stadium, with support from Hungary, the chairman of the Parliament in a Facebook post has said that building the stadium is good news for athletes.
He has used a metaphor for location, saying the stadium will have one gate in Pristina and the other in Drenas.

The location setting for Kosovo National Stadium is good news, especially for our athletes. I expect his construction to start as soon as possible, and I will personally address this project's life priority. The stadium, one gate, will be in Pristina and the other in Drenas.
