Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseline has spoken at a table of the Kosovo Democratic Institute for Dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia and the role of the Assembly in the process.
Chief Parliamentary Wessel stressed that dialogue as a tool is always the only alternative to solving any open subject. He said that he also personally knows the path to conflict because it was part of the liberation war, but as Wessel said at the time, dialogue has not been accepted as a means.
Wessel said the Kosovo dialogue has had numerous results, but even problems, as the Serbian state still continues to create numerous obstacles through spending tens of millions of euros in parallel structures trying to undermine Kosovo's sovereignty.
Kosovo today needs a broad political consensus and inclusion in the dialogue process. We should not wage internal political warfare but should be together and move towards empowering our state and Euro-Atlantic integrations. One is clear to all, Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state is determined to move forward alongside our Western allies to open stable prospects for our citizens, said Chief Prime Minister Veselin.
