Unionists demand more than 4 per cent increase in wages

The Union of Independent Unions of Kosovo (BSPK) under which these unions operate is soon expected to take a joint position in co-ordination with all union federations to counter this public sector wage growth.
Finance Minister Bedri Hamza has recently warned that by January of next year, public sector salaries will increase 4 per cent. But this warning is calling it reckless, the chairman of the Union of Independent Trade Unions of Kosovo, Avni Aydin, under which, the wage increase should not be done in percentages, but in linear terms.
