For “Vecernje Novosti”, he commented on the procedure of Serbian representatives on a resolution condemning the violation of human rights in Crime and the temporary invasion of the peninsula by Russia, reports “b92”, Periscopi broadcast.

“Remember that Americans have recently been silent at the UN Security Council during the declaration in Jerusalem, but they said they were defending their sovereignty, so we have defended our interests” in the vote, Dacic said.

In the UN resolution submitted by Ukraine, Russia has been called to fulfil 12 recommendations to “urgently set a point for all human rights violations of the Crimean residents”.

70 seats voted for approval of the document, 26 against and 76 abstentions. Among those supporting the document was the majority of European countries and the United States.

Against were Serbia, Russia, China, India, Armenia, North Korea, Belarus, Cuba, Iran... Many countries of the Middle East and North Africa and Latin countries of America had abstained./Periscopi/
