Sentenced 250 euros after beating a woman

For catching hair and slaps given to my ex-wife, N.N. I will pay 250 euros at the order of the Court.

The court has accepted the prosecution's request to impose a criminal order on many of the 250 euros for attacks on the wife.

According to the prosecution, three years ago, exactly on December 8, 2014, at 7: 00 p.m., at his residence in Pristina, the defendant, after continuing disagreements with his wife, deliberately used physical force against her.

The same person allegedly grabbed his wife for his hair and then hit her with slaps, with the chance to get hurt has been caused by feelings of anxiety, fear, and uncertainty.

And for this incident, the Court has decided to punish the defendant with a fine of 250 euros by sentence.

KA LLXO.com has contacted the victim who has also told of the physical consequences that were caused to him that day. Although the event occurred years ago, the victim remembers each detail from the critical day of December 2014.

Unfortunately, that day's attack wasn't her last. The victim claims that physical and mental violence has continued further, for which they are currently under trial.

The fine sentence was made in November of this year, until the case occurred in December 2014, that is, in addition to indicating that the Court has taken about three years to make the decision, it is clear that cases of this nature are not taken priority.

Furthermore, in the trial that KALLXO.com holds, it is stressed that if the accused does not want or cannot pay the fine, the court can replace the penalty with a prison sentence, counting one day's worth of 20 euros worth of fine, which is about 13 days.

Although the payment in much of 250 euros sounds better than prison, the convict will apparently end up inside the prison cell.

That's after he hasn't paid his ex-wife the baby's food in a lot of 150 euros.

On July 27th of this year, the Pristina Constitutional Court had made the decision that the child's father would pay 150 euros per month for his meal, which he did not.

Even though the verdict taken by the Court is consistent with the legal provisions of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code, such condemnation is fairly low and not preventative, as has happened in the concrete case.

Against the trial of fine sentences, the defendant has the right to complaint within the legal deadline.
