Iraqi news portal Shafaq News reported that the bodies of men, women and children were found near the city, Sinyar, which was occupied by the extremist group, the Islamic State (IS) since 2014.
It is considered that IS militants have executed hundreds of men and boys in the Jazid community and enslaved thousands of their women and children.
An unknown number of women and children have moved from the city of Raca to Syria, which was practically the capital of the IS until October, when the Syrian and Arab forces took over him.
By the end of 2015, the city of Sinyar has been released, and since then more than 30 mass graves have been found there.
The Jazid religion has elements of Christendom, Zoroastrianism, and Islam. The extremist group, the Islamic State, considers members of the Jazid community for “believed in the devil”.
Most of this population, with nearly half a million members, remains in camps within the autonomous Kurdistan region in northern Iraq.
