In his annual speech at the Macedonian Assembly, head of this state Gjorge Ivanov also spoke about reports with neighbouring states, stressing his commitment to building good relations with all states.
But in this case he criticised the Government of Kosovo's decision to separate means for members of Kosovo's Kumanovo Group, who have been convicted of terrorism for the events of May 9th and May 10th of 2015 in Kumanovo.
He went on to say that Macedonia's membership in NATO and the European Union is the only alternative to Macedonia's perspective and return to normal. So has the president, Gjorge Ivanov, declared in the annual speech in Macedonia's Parliament, broadcasts rel.
He has called on Brussels to decide as soon as it decides to unblock Macedonia's integration process, as this, according to him, would not only be in the interest of citizens but also of security and stability in the region.
The president in his speech to the heads of state institutions and diplomatic representatives in the country also spoke of developments in the country, stressing that Macedonia during this year has experienced one of the worst political crises which escalated into violence in the Assembly on April 27th.
Ivanov has said that responsibility should be sought not only for those who caused violence but also for those who promoted it. On this occasion Ivanov cited the declaration of Albanian political parties achieved in Tirana, which, according to the president, had prompted reactions due to fears of endangering the state and constitutional order.
The powerful and opposition “Liders must establish communication in the interest of citizens and state. There should be no political revanscism, we need reconciliation. The European Union requires, not revanscism, but implementation of reforms. Tell me how systemic laws will be passed without opposition presence. We have to work on restoring the citizens' trust in the country's institutions. This is a citizen request, and their demand is both mine. The firehouse of this political crisis is focused only on one country, the Directorate for Security and Counter-intelligence. Pribe's recommendations have not been implemented. This leaves doubt that even more is being manipulated with judicial processes”, Ivanov stressed.
