Lapsy.al analysis: Paper from prison, a false step of Albin Kurt?

At the height of the clashes that have engulfed the Vetevendosje movement, Kosovo's largest party and, under all likelihood, the most sincere and hopeful subject of all Albanian lands, has finally indicated its leader, Albin Kurti.

The Kurt, which is found imprisoned for tear gas thrown into parliament, had not spoken a word since the clashes in Vetevendosje erupted in public. It was one of the main figures of this party, deputy speaker of the Kosovo assembly Aida Drgati, to whom a message for the arrest of Kurt: “was imprisoned that shit”?

That's all it took to blow up. Albin's loyal and militants were attacked by the group condemning its cult in the party. They claimed they would abandon the movement if Albin ran once more as chairman.

Among them is apparently listed chairman “de facto” of Vetevendosje, Visar Ymer. In a letter he sent to today's top party forum, urgently assembled (in which he refused to participate) Ymer said: “We are loyal to the idea, not to man”.

So at today's emergencyd meeting, the attitude that would hold the undisputed leader of this party was expected. Would he begin a witch hunt? Would he join the chorus of militants seeking to lynching his opponents? Would tolerance and dialogue be a compass, or would it behave differently from all the ordinary leaders of Albanian parties?

Apparently, Albin missed a chance to get closer to the idealized image of those who imagine it to be perfect. In his letter from prison (complete reading) he acted as a politician whose purpose is to destroy the obstacle that has come his way. He had no power to condemn the voices of extremists within the party. He pretended to forgive Aida Dorg, but invited his men to look for the scenario that had caused him to behave that way.

The language Aida has used is not the problem. They don't bother me with what she said. I forgive him even if he didn't apologize. She doesn't owe me any personally. I've been very disappointed with the destructive approach, the desire to arrest us, the special line of communication behind the back of the V organ. I'm sorry. The point is not its vocabulary, but this sense of hostility to me, this subtle communication, and who knows what its intentions are, and they're very disturbing” Albin Kurti said in the letter from prison today.

And then in the pre-frarate that follows he hints that there is a bigger conspiracy and that traces of those who have taken Aida Drcgu to this approach should be found.

“Aida does not enter either 5, or 10, or 50 V activists The ones I've had the most pronounced disagreements with. How did she get to this point? I have no explanation but deceit. Which means it's not her fault”.

After that, any who do not love Albin Kurt could parallel the Stalinist methods of searching for enemies. Anyone could recall Hodgeste's methods of not being casual and should seek out conspirators who had a perverse purpose.

And just as if he knew it could have happened this way, the official chairman of Vetevendosje, Visar Ymer, who did not attend this Sunday meeting, addressed her with these words: “of course, of course, engaged people make mistakes. And mistakes should be highlighted and treated. But be treated as mistakes. At the moment the error is cast into doubt about motives, when there is no reason for such a thing, then the error takes on another meaning. And it is treated differently. And you don't have a choice. It just brings new problems. It just takes us away from each other”.

And that's what Ymer philosophy called it: “the method of political elimination”.

Did Albin Kurti fall into the trap of all autocrat leaders speaking in the name of crowds, promoting their extremism, and finally seeing the links as the only way forward?

Doubts are too strong after his letter from prison this Sunday. He appealed openly for witch hunts against those behind Aida Durg's banal vocabulary, and he didn't even try to restrain their links. There are several passages of paper that speak clearly about this: “Some people who lose privileges think this is injustice. They should begin to think that perhaps privileges have been injustice” wrote Kurti in one passage, while in another adds that for VV: “all are necessary, no one is required”.

Yet, for all who want to keep in mind, Albin's idealised image, a hope remains. At the end of his letter, the spirit leader of Vetevendosje issued a signal of tolerance: “Discussing openly and at our Movement forums, we contribute to diminishing the fog of minds and poisoning the hearts of our activists. Let's talk about all the topics in the dilemma, together and exhausted, without conditions and without prejudice”.

This will actually be the best way. It would save Vetevendosje from murderous warfare within the species. It would stop the sneezing screams of sirens that want to get the leader on the road without getting back in line. It would make everyone reflect.

Because Vetevendosje, now that it has become the largest party in Kosovo, now that it has achieved an unimaginable result on two sides of the election, does not have the luxury of acting under the emergency dictatorship. He is not privileged to take on doubts about extremism. She doesn't have the time to eat her sons. Because she hasn't completed the revolution yet. /Lapsy.al/
