The head of the LDK Parliamentary Group, Avdullah Hoti, has expressed concern over the Budget Bill for 2018, stressing its poor planning, inadequate structure and political-led planning.
He has discussed economic and political developments in the country during a meeting with IMF Mission chief in Washington Stephanie Able. The discussion was also the 2018 Budget Bill.
Hoti also announced to the IMF representatives that since the Commission for Business and Finance leads the Democratic League of Kosovo, its members on this commission will be very careful to review all the amendment requirements that may come from MPs and various institutions.
He also disclosed that the LDK parliamentary group makes amendments to correct the draft budget for 2018, whose vote will take place this Sunday in the Assembly.
While IMF Mission for Kosovo chief Able highly praised Hoti's commitment to working on improving economic conditions in the country, as well as constructive policies in front of international partners such as the International Monetary Fund.
