The 2.4kg of heroin allegedly launched by Albania has been seized by Italian police.
The drugs were found in a truck at the bar port and divided into five packages. Italian police put a 50-year-old Albanian in handcuffs whose identity is not disclosed.
Guardia di Finanza says the investigation into this case will follow after it is suspected to be part of a broader network of traffickers.
